National Space Day 2024
No. 5/898/2024-MASTEC: To commemorate the successful landing of Chandrayan -3 Vikram Lander on the surface of the Moon, Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC), Imphal in association with North East Space Application Centre (NESAC), Shillong will be Celebrating National Space Day 2024 on July 19, 2024 at NIELIT, Akampat, Imphal. The main features of the programme include Invited Talk on Indian Space Programme with special emphasis on Moon Missions (Lunar Exploration), Space applications for Societal benefits, Audio Visual Show, Space Exhibition & Display on Space on Wheel, Interaction of students with Scientists from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and NESAC etc.
Science Quiz on Space Exploration will be organised for students of Class IX to XII. A team of two students from each school may submit duly filled in Application Forms on or before July 16, 2024 obtainable from MASTEC office or its website https://mastec.nic.in.
Further, a team of one Teacher & two Students from each school may also be nominated by the Principals/Head Masters of Schools (Govt./Private) for participation in the Technical Sessions of National Space Day Celebration 2024.
