Natural Resources of Manipur
All means of satisfying human and social needs, at a given time and place, are resources. These comprise the material and non-material attributes. As we go along this categorisation, the material attributes have their base directly or indirectly on the natural resources. Since the environmental phenomena are the functions of the availability and prudent tapping of natural resources of a particular region, an inventory of the same is the prelude to the assessment of the environmental status of the region.
