- Technology Demonstration and Dissemination Centre (TDDC):
Manipur Science & Technology Council (MASTEC), Imphal is attempting to set up a Technology Demonstration and Dissemination Centre at its office campus. With signing an MOU between MASTEC and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, some DAE Technologies given below have been installed for display and demonstration to the local entrepreneurs, farmers and individuals.
- Tissue Culture Facility
- Soil Organic carbon Detection Kit (SOCDK)
- Foldable Solar Dryer (25 Kg. capacity)
- Vibro Thermal Disinfestor (VTD) (5 Kg/hr capacity)
- On-line Domestic Water Purifier based on ultrafiltration polysulfone membrane (DWP)
- Fluoride Detection Kit for Ground water (FDK)
As part of collaboration and also to popularize NIF promoted technologies as well as to improve MASTEC’s Technology Centre, we have received some technologies given below from National Innovation Foundation (NIF), DST, GoI for display and dissemination to the local farmers in the state.
The Innovative products which have been recognized by giving Dr. Ibeyaima Innovation Award have been kept in the centre for demonstration to the public.
- Common Facility cum Demonstration Centre for Food Processing
Under the DST, GoI sponsored project “Common Facility cum Demonstration Centre for Food Processing” implemented by this Council, an infrastructure has been established as common facility centre for food processing so as to enable the entrepreneurs/SHG members of the state to produce different food products either in common brand or individual brand in the centre. Training programmes are going on regularly at this centre.
